This Art Deco silver lemon squeezer is made by Adie Brothers of Birmingham. It has a central hollow tube with elongated openings cut around it. One end is nib shaped and the other is attached to a silver skirt. There is a silver flap on one side of the tube that is folded back to make a wing. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1930-31 and is marked "Lemora" in script and has a provisional patent number.
We have tested it to see if it works. Insert the nib end of the squeezer into one end of the lemon, push the squeezer up the centre of the lemon until the lemon is on the skirt then squeeze the lemon! The juice drips down the central hollow tube so make sure you have a container below the skirt to catch the juice. It is the best lemon juice extractor I have used and the good news - the lemon juice keeps the silver clean!
